Dr Mark Randle MBBS MRCGP

Dr Randle, a GP for over 12 years, has significant clinical research experience working with many of the top 10 pharmaceutical companies since 1998. In addition he has founded two healthcare companies, Datatrial Limited specialising in electronic datacapture to speed up drug development and eMedit Limited, a multimedia online training business for the personal development of Healthcare professionals. Both were start-up business's with over 30 employees, having sales in Europe and USA.

Along with Karl Watkin and another investor, Dr Randle was a founder member of DermaSalve in 2003. Having researched the market and realising all current creams contain skin irritants Dr Randle set about developing and patenting a completely new range of moisturising creams, with the aim of being completely sensitiser free. The products were brought to market by reversing the Company into an AIM listed cash shell in Jan 2006.

Phil Pattison FCMA, MBA

Phil Pattison, a finance professional, has many years commercial experience holding senior positions with a number of blue chip organisations including Northern Rock plc, Marks and Spencer plc, Rolls-Royce plc and General Electric (GE). While at GE he trained as a Six Sigma Black Belt, GE's world renowned business process improvement programme. He was also appointed as Ombudsman as part of the Company's Integrity process. When the Company acquired its major overseas competitor, he led the finance and commercial integration, spending 18 months in Germany. Whilst at Rolls-Royce, he worked as part of the Project Finance team responsible for raising funds to support major capital projects around the world.

Neil Wilson

Sales and Marketing Director, (45)

Neil Wilson joined DermaSalve in January 2007. Prior to that Neil had spent most of the previous 16 years with Boots Healthcare International where he had held various senior management positions within the sales and marketing departments. His achievements included spearheading Nurofen expansion into the grocery market where it established itself as the number one analgesic brand in the UK.

As well as his considerable experience in the retail sector Neil was also responsible for business to business transactions including securing long term contracts with the MoD for the E45 brand. Immediately prior to joining DermaSalve Neil had spent 6 months consulting for GSK on a sales related project.

Dr Clive Morton OBE CEng, PhD, CCIPD,

Non-Executive Chairman, (65)

He is Chairman of Peterborough and Stamford Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust, Chairman of DermaSalve Sciences PLC, Chairman of Sabien Technology PLC, Deputy Chairman of Opportunity Peterborough, the Urban Regeneration Company, and Deputy Chairman of D1 Oils, an international biodiesel producer. He is an associate professor at Middlesex University Business School and a former Vice President of the Institute of Personnel and Development. With a long, successful career in engineering & HR he now leads The Morton Partnership, which specialises in organisational transformation and consulting to boards in the private, public and not-for-profit sectors.

Graham Basil Ashley

Mr Ashley has over 40 years experience in stockbroking and corporate finance and was a founding director and shareholder of Greig Middleton Holdings Limited (stockbrokers). After the merger of Greig Middleton Holdings Limited with Gerrard Limited, he became a director of Gerrard Limited and following its acquisition by Old Mutual Securities Limited, a Senior Corporate Finance director of Old Mutual Securities, which was subsequently acquired by Arbuthnot. Mr Ashley has advised on acquisitions and disposals and fundraisings across a wide range of sectors and industries. Mr Ashley is also currently a director of IAF Group plc, DermaSalve Sciences plc and Crimson Tide plc, all quoted on AIM.

Karl E. Watkin MBE

Non-Executive Director, (52)

Karl Watkin, a serial entrepreneur, was one of the founders of DermaSalve Sciences Plc. He has 30 years' experience of international business, particularly in Asia, and received an MBE for services to UK exports in 1993. He led the management buyout, turnaround and flotation of Crabtree, a major international supplier to the can-making industry which he floated in 1993. In 1999 he created and floated the UK's first internet business-to-business exchange, J2C Plc. He is Chairman of Green Atlantic Partners, a global network developing new technologies and businesses from emerging markets, and a Non-Executive Director of China Goldmines PLC and D1 Oils Plc, both of which he created and took public. He was a founder Director or major shareholder in Proton Power Systems Plc, Sabien Technologies Plc and Helius Energy Plc He is Chairman of the UN Foundation Bio Energy Advisory Board and has significant business interests in China where he spends much of his life.

Dr David Stone BSc PhD

Dr Stone is currently CEO of Cambridge Biostability Ltd. Prior to joining Cambridge Biostability Dr Stone was a founder of BioFocus plc and the first Chief Executive of the company from 1997 to 2003. He was subsequently Chairman of the Company until 2005 when it was acquired by Galapagos NV. Dr Stone has held a number of non-executive appointments in the biotechnology sector including Purely Proteins, Bridgehead Technologies and ERBI. In addition to his current roles in DermaSalve and Cambridge Biostability he is also Chairman of Cambridge Sensors Ltd.

Prior to founding BioFocus Dr Stone had more than twenty years experience in the pharmaceutical industry with Wellcome and has wide experience of leading drug discovery and managing drug discovery activities.

Dr Stone has a BSc and PhD in Biochemistry from the University of Birmingham, UK and carried out postdoctoral work at the University of Alberta, Edmonton Canada. He is the author of more than 50 publications in the fields of protein structure, enzymology and the mechanism of cardiovascular diseases.

Dr Erling Refsum MB. BS. FRCSEd

Dr Refsum, A qualified surgeon spent nine years between 1978 and 1987 in the NHS, latterly working as an orthopaedic surgeon in world leading hospitals including Barts and Great Ormond Street. He moved to the City in 1987 joining Nomura where, apart from a short spell at Yamaichi, he stayed until he joined Mulier Capital in February 2006.

He was instrumental in building a highly regarded investment banking healthcare franchise at Nomura, the success of which was reflected in him being voted number one biotechnology and healthcare analyst in the Reuters UK smaller company survey for three years running between 1999 and 2001 when the survey was stopped.
